Editorial Policy
Our standards for researching, reviewing, and updating the legal information on this site.
Who writes and reviews our content
Every page on this site is written for Los Angeles-area readers and reviewed by Brandon Aminpour, Founding Attorney of Blackrock Law Group, before publication. Drafting assistance and research tools may be used, but no page is published without attorney review.
How we source legal information
We rely on primary sources first: California statutes and codes, published court opinions, California Judicial Council forms, and official agency guidance. Where a page states a deadline, a coverage limit, or a legal standard, that statement is checked against the current text of the source.
Local facts such as intersection data, hospital locations, and courthouse assignments come from public agency data and official websites.
Accuracy, updates, and corrections
Pages show a last-updated date. We review evergreen legal pages on a recurring schedule and update them when the underlying law, a filing deadline, or a local resource changes.
If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, email info@blkrocklaw.com or call (323) 879-9777 and we will review it.
What we will not publish
We do not publish invented case results, fabricated reviews, guaranteed outcomes, or credentials we cannot verify. Client stories and results appear only with permission and only where the underlying facts are accurate.
We do not use scare tactics, fake urgency, or claims about being available at hours we do not actually staff.
Advertising and independence
This website is attorney advertising. We do not accept payment to feature third-party products, services, or providers in our editorial content. Any link we include is there because we believe it is useful to the reader.
